Trip Overview

Winter Tour in Tibet The main destination of these programmes are Chengdu and the Cultural cities of Tibet like Lhasa, Tsetang, Gyantse and Shigatse. Highlight of our winter tour is the Tibetan New Year’s festival as well as Chinese Spring Festival (our new year according to lunar calendar).

Tibet Tour

Tibet tours are organised jointly between ourselves and our agents in Tibet. Tours which require a return flight are handled solely by our agents in Tibet. Tours with an overland element to them will be accompanied by one of our team members from Kathmanu. Trekking in Tibet as well as Pilgrimage tours to Mt. Kailash and Lake Manasarovar are handled directly by oursrelves, on some treks and pilgrimage tours it will be neccessary to hire additional staff from Tibet.

All our journeys are arranged with a Land Cruiser. The majority of places to be visited are either on the friendship highway (our main route) or reasonably close to it. The itineraries have been chosen to offer what we believe to offer the traveller the optimum experience in the time available.
